BlackFork Barrel Nose ’38 Bourbon is matured in our traditional charred oak casks for 38 months. Then it is moved into a 2nd new charred oak cask for additional aging. This added time, and double exposure to new charred oak, enhances the toasty oak flavors and smoky undertones of our BlackFork Bourbon and adding a distinctive barrel flavor notes to the nose of the whisky.
