This native American corn grows rich dark red ears with large plump kernels. It is grown from legacy seed stock and open pollinated in small fields scattered across the rolling hills of our farm in Eastern South Dakota.  Once harvested, we dry the corn using applewood, adding a hint of applewood and smoke to its already rich flavor.
